Al & Christine’s Recommendations

We’ve spent plenty of time in Cabo, and we’ve found a few things you just can’t miss.

If you want to experience Cabo the way we do, here are some of our favorites:

  • Hop on a Dune Buggy: Kick up some sand and see the desert side of Cabo most tourists miss.
  • Sail Past El Arco at Sunset: A sailboat ride with the famous Arch as your backdrop? That’s a memory you’ll talk about for years.
  • Snorkel & Dive the Reefs: Slip beneath the surface and explore Cabo’s underwater world.
  • Go Sport Fishing: Cabo is a sportfishing capital for a reason. Whether you’re chasing marlin or just want a day on the water, it’s worth it.
  • Go Wine Tasting: Yes, Cabo has a wine scene. Spend the evening sampling unique regional wines and learning what makes Baja grapes so special.
  • Try Camelback Riding: It’s not every day you get to ride a camel by the ocean. Fun, unique, and one of those “only in Cabo” experiences.

These are the kinds of adventures that make Cabo more than just another beach town. And the best part? They’re all just minutes from your condo rental at Al & Christine’s Place.

FAQs

Travel Smart. Adventure Freely.

Do I need a car to get around Cabo?

Not necessarily. We’re minutes from the marina, beaches, and shops, and rideshare apps like Uber work great here. If you want to explore outside town or head into the desert, renting a car can be handy.

How far is the condo from the beach and downtown?

The beach is about 10 minutes away, and you can reach downtown Cabo San Lucas in around 5 minutes. You’ll be close to the action but tucked inside a safe, gated community.

What if I lose my passport while in Cabo?

Head to the nearest U.S. Consulate or Embassy in Cabo San Lucas. They’ll help you get an emergency replacement. We also recommend keeping a copy of your passport in a separate bag, just in case.

What if I get sick or injured during my stay?

Cabo has modern hospitals and clinics nearby. For emergencies, dial 911 in Mexico. We also recommend checking with your travel insurance provider before you go, so you know what’s covered.
